My leadership experience focuses on elevating faculty toward innovation, facilitating interdisciplinary work and connecting processes to strategies in order to streamline projects. I believe an excellent academic administrator is one who supports faculty and students as they explore, research, create and study. I love solving problems and connecting academics, educators and artists.

Some of my recent academic leadership accomplishments include:

·      Managing the internal merger between two Schools

·      Overseeing the development of a new School

·      Overseeing curriculum changes in the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Education

·      Developing a series of 4+1 BA/MA degrees

·      Creating and implementing Educational Outreach Initiatives to K-12 schools

·      Leading the development and implementation of an Open Day

·      Developing an anti-sexual harassment training program

·      Overseeing an HR committee for an international charity organization

·      Creating and managing program budgets, grant budgets and special project budgets, ranging from 30,000-2,000,000

·      Leading a task force to develop K-12 teacher licensure state requirements to include all areas of Arts education in teacher training programs

·      Leading a team to develop state-wide K-12 curriculum and benchmarks for Arts Education
